The last of the garden flowers

Today started off with no lights downstairs as last night I couldn't sleep so came downstairs and switched on the livingroom lights and they all went out. I alerted hubby who managed to get light upstairs but we would sort out the downstairs ones in the morning. We have had a spate of light going out recently and don't know why and have had to change about five bulbs so it was a case of checking the bulbs to see which one it was and we eventually found the dining room bulb was gone but we still had a fault and traced it to the dimmer switch in the livingro0m. All fixed so we will see how long they last.
Another problem arose this morning and that was a pile of concrete and plaster carefully piled up in Mac''s bowl on top of what dinner he had left. I didn't put it there and hubby didn't so who was it? Since we had the burst pipe the boards at the bottom of the kitchen cupboards had been removed so I checked underneath and we found a lump of plaster similar to what was in the bowl. We hovered underneath and put the boards back so hope we don't have anymore visitors tonight.
The oilman came and delivered the oil and we have been stocking up on wood so that's us set for winter.
I picked this bunch of flowers from the garden the other day.
Today was dry this morning but a heavy shower came over and then it was dry in the afternoon with a little bit of sun.
