Priorwood Gardens

This afternoon I had to go to Tweedbank. As there seem to be road works everywhere around Galashiels at the moment we ended up going to Melrose for a walk around the town and a coffee afterwards rather than in to Gala. Priorwood Gardens (owned by the National Trust for Scotland) were open - I can’t remember them ever being open when I have been to Melrose before so we took the opportunity to have a look around. The flowers were just fantastic and the orchard was full of apple trees covered in fruit - definitely worth a visit.
