Escape

I'd like to escape from this heat!  Another very hot day, about 10 degrees above normal, with quite a strong smell of smoke in the air.  There's a wildfire southwest of Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, so I'm assuming that's  the source of the smell.  So much of the province is under a heat warning issued by Environment Canada, and there are many wildfires raging.  Scary.
There might be a bit of relief this weekend.  I hope so!
