Qal'at al-Bahrain

Qal'at al-Bahrain / Bahrain Fort, a UNESCO world heritage site, now with an impressive attached museum. On this visit, it was a still a place that could be clambered over, with little signage or interpretation. From the beautiful remains one can see the skyscrapers of Manama.
