Lympstone

I was out this evening with the photo club and we had arranged to walk around Lympstone a small village situated on the edge of the Exe estuary.  The weather had changed today so we were met with dull grey conditions, not the best for photography.  I did however borrow someones wide angle lens and got this shot looking back to the village.  The dramatic skies using such a wide angle made me choose this for todays blip.  It couldn't be considered as 'calm' however the  theme for wide Wednesday but I have posted it anyway.

When I look back on what I did the rest of the day I realise so much time was spent trying to book a flight ticket to Edinburgh.  I had decided what to go for the previous night and then prices all went up so I was back to do I go from Exeter (easier and more expensive) or Bristol, for maybe train or even drive both of which make a different short break.  Anyway by the end of the day we opted for the easiest route and now look forward to a university reunion at one of our groups houses near Edinburgh.
