NO DRESSING!!!

Today started with intense itching at around 3am. I am off to see the consultant tomorrow and have had to stop taking antihistamines for some blood test. I took the last one on Friday night and have been getting itchier and itchier with each day.

Lily climbed into my bed at some point between waking up to itch and being woken up by Red at 4am. He had removed his dressing. We were then joined by both cats, one of whom maintained a low growl and the other kept attacking my toes. I think it is safe to say that I dozed until the alarm went off at 7am!

I took Red into nursery for a bit before we headed off to see Mr Scott the hand man. Our appointment was only 45 minutes late (the letter warns that 2hours is normal) and lasted a few minutes. The wound is lovely, the stitch will fall out and I have to massage the scar for 3 minutes 5 times a day with my favourite hand cream.

Tonight, in a bold foolish move, I have made up both Lily's bunk beds and put Red in with Lily. I am hoping that they will stick with disturbing each other and not me. Can't be any worse than last night anyway!
