Reflections

I took my car in for its service and MOT today (delayed from earlier in the week after the shenanigans with Mrs madwill's car). It passed the MOT after a sidelight bulb change, but it was due a major service…so it cost almost £300! That's £900 paid out this week, and both excise licenses are due this month, another £300 and my insurance is also due - £200, which is a bit cheaper than last year at least.

I went for a walk this afternoon in Boston Spa (without a dog) and there were some nice reflections to be seen in the River Wharfe …shame the light was so flat. The main shot is of Thorp Arch bridge, and you can see how low the water is at the moment…the little island is not normally visible. Further along the river bank the trees were nicely reflected in the calm water.
