Milkweed Pods

A long walk along the old railroad path SC5 looking at wildflowers, vines, sumac, forest trees, and creeks. I was kept company by a variety of insects, a hot sun, and humid hanging air.

Extra: At first glance, the photo looked like there was a mountain or mist in the background. This picture was taken at the pond’s edge showing reflections of the sky and trees in the water.

I chose the milkweed pods favoring design and texture.
