Busy day

The quest to find an alternative respite home for Ma over Christmas had to be sorted one way or the other by the end of this week. So today was spent looking at a couple of places.

One of them I visited last week and is in a different local authority, but liked immediately. I wanted to go back and check that it was as nice as I remembered. The other is one of only three in this area who offer the sort of care Ma needs (the other two are full over Christmas). As we pay full cost for any care I am free to choose where she goes and she is going to the one from last week because it is genuinely a lovely place and despite being in a different authority is actually only 5 miles away.

A really good result. I am certain she will be very happy and well looked after there.

So, not much blippage went on today. Luckily Roy obliged with a fabulous pose once again.
