Thunder Head

Dear Diary,

Cloud watching is an obsession this time of year.  I spotted this thunder head and just had to pull over to photograph it.  Magnificent.  Every afternoon the high heat builds these clouds and then we wait to see if they will develop into thunderstorms, which is usually the case.

I was also interested to see how my little camera would handle clouds.  I find them hard to photograph sometimes since the whites can blow out but I think it did a wonderful job.  I leave Maine one month from today on my grand adventure to Scotland and England.  Instead of fixating on my weather I will be checking theirs to see what to pack!
