Feeding Station MkII

As we are going to be away for a few days Mrs W was worried about the hedgehogs going short of food, especially water in the heat wave, so we (me) tried many mock-ups of large water feeders using what we have in the way of bits without a great deal of success. This little economy dog feeding station complete with dry food feeder as well as water was almost as cheep as acquiring the bits to make just a water feeder.
 
We have had to restrict the feeding area as the hedgehogs like to get right in and muck up the food.  This has resulted in some comic trailcam videos with one hedgehog that winds up head first in the feeder with his hind quarters in the air.
 
I’m not too sure if I’ll be able to blip much for a couple of days, but there will be an abundance of holiday snaps and commenting in the not too distant future.  We will be handing over to the local vigilantly patrol in the morning.
