Jester

The rain we had been longing for really arrived today with a vengeance. There were several claps of thunder followed by torrential rain. Drains overfloŵing, paths streaming, dark clouds looming. But it was soon over and we are back to blue skies with towering white cumulus clouds.
The blip is of a plant I bought a few weeks ago which is called Phormium "Jester". Jester I suppose because of its multi coloured leaves. It is sitting in the top of one of the chimney pots in the garden, but it is growing so fast I may have to find another home for it.
