Chilli Fiesta

It rained, and rained... At one point the wind was so strong that stall holders were hanging on to the roof supports to stop them taking off... enjoyed it nevertheless.
Pineapple & Dorset Naga Chilli (purportedly very hot) Chutney and Trinidad Seven Pot Chilli Sauce were acquired for Bluebellsea. No chilli pickle to be had - we tried every stall. I had not known that “the difference between pickle and chutney is the stickiness - pickle being the stickier”, so the sellers told me.

Lunch was had in the West Dean cafe whilst the skies poured down, bellydancing and drumming were watched and enjoyed during a brief respite from the rain. Another deluge, at the end of which we took ourselves to the Weald and Downland cafe for tea and cake. All in all a very good day.
