Late evening nectar

We had a fairly good dose of rain today but still not enough to do more than moisten the top two inches of soil.  The bumbles came out afterwards and worked the lavender in a frenzy of activity and then moved on to find other nectar producing plants nearby.  This bumble has been working hard and his wings will not survive much longer.  Sorry not to comment much - have had the builders in and seem to be living in a permanent mist of white dust
