Fruit and pickled cabbage

The blackcurrants are just about finished, an amazing year and another bowl of Worcesterberries still to pick, a prickly job. And I’ve had a go at making pickled red cabbage. In each of our last two veg boxes there was a huge red cabbage, I’ve looked for relevant recipes, including a Chinese red cabbage found under the BBC Good Food site, liked it. I’m not a fan of pickled RC, could either confirm this feeling or who knows - change it.

Extra - Heath R strikes again. John calls this the ‘day shed’ for logs; work in progress. His idea is to bring logs from the long term drying out shed into here for imminent use.
