Birthday surprise

JR’s significant birthday (not her 40th, actually) and I completely surprised her (and myself) by booking this special place. She’s been going on about this place for ages. I had no idea it was at the end of a six mile single track road!!

However, many Brownie points earned for my efforts. I’ll be cashing them all year for ever!

Surrounded by mountains, so internet in our otherwise luxurious room, so this will be brief, after a spectacular dinner.

And it’s not even her birthday - it’s tomorrow!
