Yangtze Bridge
Last day in Nanjing started with my usual breakfast of buns, fried rice and water melon. At the university we sorted remaining loose ends and finished around 2. One of the students took us into town to see the city wall and a pavilion. We had a great view over the city and finally managed to see the Yangtze River. I part liked seeing the bridge which was built in the 60ies to complete the Shanghai Beijing railway line. The lower deck caries the trains while the upper deck is part of a motorway. We then took the train to Hangzhou where we are staying with my colleague's son. Looking forward to explore the city tomorrow.
