Truro City of Lights Festival

The Truro City of Lights Festival is a procession of withy and tissue lanterns which are carried through the streets of the city. The lanterns are handmade and carried by professional artists, local communities and Cornish school children. This years theme is Kings and Queens.

As you can see, there was a lot of people there (a few thousand more to my right probably). By complete accident (for a change) I ended up outside Costa as the route to the right was stuffed. Two decaf latte's and a whole load of atmosphere later I was still smiling having thoroughly enjoyed myself.
