Last of the lavender

This rather weather beaten lavender flower is one of the few remaining on our bush.  

A day of grey weather and some rain.  I spent it mainly sorting stuff out at home along with the odd picking of vegetables on the allotment.  Getting ready for our friends visit, a pity the weather seems to have changed.

A lovely Mel in the evening though with friends.
