Autumnal nip...

in the air up here on the moor this morning, but sunny and fine. The heather smells and looks good. The Pipits are all gathering in family groups, as are the Sand Martins. Scotch Argus and Small White butterflies look faded and tattered. On the whole a lovely day. From up here, it is possible to see Sutherland and Cairngorm at the same time.
Decided not to cross the bridge in the extra.
