Manche to the Med day 7

Day 7 Boussac Bourg to Mérinchal. 50 miles and 3200 ft of climbing! After a quick trip to the supermarket in Boussac we set off through miles of quiet country lanes. We chased a hare about 500ft until it eventually dived in a hedge. We climbed a lot, starting at 240m and ending just over 700m up. Luckily the gradients were ok so it was slow but not too hard. Mr PB  planned to camp at the municipal site at Mérinchal but it didn't seem to exist! Luckily 3 miles on in the right direction was a fantastic little campsite and gite with a kitchen to use, much better. It even has 3 donkeys for my daily donkey stroke, a dig for Mr PB to tickle and ducks and geese, not to mention the big white cat I had to physically move out the way of a car. I didn't know cats could be so stubborn. Sitting on a veranda with a glass of wine on a warm sunny evening, what could be better.
