How'd You Like Them Apples?

Our Town Mayor, Councillor Mary Vickers, was at the Buttercross this afternoon selling cooking apples, the proceeds going to the Mayor's chosen charity.

Mary is a tireless campaigner and brings dignity and responsibility to the position of Town Mayor, something which certain predecessors have failed to do.

She looks really good in her chains of office, don't you think?
