Far from the madding crowd .....

In Edinburgh this weekend but forwent the festival and headed for the hills - driving south on A70 to Little Vantage then heading along the Thieves Road to Carelops via East Cairn Hill and Borestone then back to Cauldstane Slap via Baddinsgill. 

Over 17 miles and plenty up and downs = perfect training for Lairig Ghru. Grand day out.
