The Peg Relay

Today was another long trip to the Moray coast. Rose Isle is one of my favourite sand dune areas.

After a morning of training we try to build in a fun event that reinforces lessons learnt.

I took the camera out to an early control to see the early competitors collect a peg which meant they then had to run to some extra controls giving an opportunity for others to get pegs further along on the course. The idea being that everyone has a chance to win. The winner is the one with most pegs collected at controls, at the finish or from coaches who carry pegs which can be requested.

Great fun to finish the morning activities.
