Howe Ridding

Better weather today than forecast. Off to walk the butterfly transects.
The young apple trees at Howe Ridding have good fruit crops this year. They are grafts from the ancient and rather moribund trees in the old orchard, carefully grown and planted by Bob Bradley, sadly no longer with us. His trees live on!
