I should have known better

Leo has had a friend around all day and they are having a sleepover this evening. All seems quiet at the moment so I am hoping they have dropped off. They are ensconced on mattresses on the living room floor and were planning a movie marathon.

It has been such a rotten day that they had to entertain themselves indoors for most of it. I had bought some gingerbread men earlier as I had a feeling they might need entertaining a bit if they couldn’t get out and about. I should have expected the worse with 11 year old boys. They couldn’t resist decorating their gingerbread men in this unique fashion!
