Ginger Cake

Old friends arriving from Oxfordshire today so thought I’d take the opportunity to make a much loved ginger cake - as you can see from the book, a well used Rose Elliot recipe.

Warmed the oven, lined the tin then realised I don’t have any ground ginger. Project abandoned !
