Clearing up nicely
A grey start to the day saw Trev and I finally get to the market about 10.30am. Being later we met all sorts of people to talk to. A cousin off to Alaska for a camping trip, another cousin who is shifting house, a friend whose wife has recently passed away. We then went on to the inlet walking way to see how the planting had gone yesterday. All done by the look of it. The kingfishers were in several places but too many people and dogs and they were flying off each time we saw them.
The cloud lifted and the sun came out so we sat on a seat and watched as the tide slowly crept in to fill the inlet and cover the walkway in one place.
This afternoon we visited a great nephew who has a plaster cast on his leg to help correct a club foot. He was as bright as a button and enjoying some water colour painting.
Reading the book "Educated" by Tara Westover. Can't put it down.
