Edinburgh

A trip to Edinburgh for my friend's Hen Night. We went to see a show called 'Showstopper' one of the funniest ad lib musicals I have ever seen.

They take suggestions from the audience for setting, title, 4 musical themes and a few playwrites and then weave them all into the show. Last night was... A Hen party in Australia entitled 'Witches of Oz'. It had musical numbers from 1. Little Shop of Horrors 2. Kiss Me Kate 3. Billy Elliot 4. Les Mis (our Hen's favourite). It was written in the style of Shakespeare, Beckett and someone else I can't currently remember.

If you have the chance to see it then do. I can't recommend it enough! To put on a new ad lib show every night shows such talent on the part of the cast and band.

This photo clearly has nothing to do with the show but the pretty window caught my eye and I love a bit of Edinburgh streets so that's why I'm sharing it. I hope you enjoy the weekend!
