Great Spotted Woodpecker

After the wedding in Lathom yesterday we decided to go to Martin Mere this morning as it is only 3 or 4 miles away. 

Whenever we go to Martin Mere we can virtually guarantee that we will see the great spotted woodpecker at one of the hides. I have added an extra photo of a female pheasant which I liked
