How do you eat yours?

They guys were off to the European Golf Championships at Gleneagles this morning.  Agnes and Ele arrived together just after 1.00pm and we headed off out to our local Deli for lunch.  Made the most of the sunshine as I think it's the last time we will see if for a while (if the BBC weather forecast is to be believed.)

We resisted having coffee in the deli as Agnes had brought scones that she'd freshly baked this morning along with some strawberry jam and cream.  We agreed they were delicious but agreed to disagree about jam or cream first.  Turns out I'm a Devon and Agnes is a Cornwall :-))

We had a lovely afternoon catching up and this slipped into a lovely evening.  The men enjoyed the golf, dinner was a success and we had fun recalling parties and people from our youth,  laughing at all our different memories of the same events.
