Honey Bee on Purple Flower

Today the garden was fairly buzzing with bumble bees, honey bees and flies that kind of looked like honey bees. The sound led to a very lazy, summery feel.

GP was mowing his lawn, when he shouted for me to come and have a look. Two bumble bees were 'in flagrante', hanging off a branch. Very interesting, but best left to them, I'd say.

I came home and mowed my lawns and watered my garden.

Now off to pick up Rae from her second day of work.

Tomorrow is Canterbury Show Day, so we get to have a day off! Yay.
