A War of Two Halves

A Fringe day for us. We started by seeing A war of Two Halves at Tynecastle. It tells the story of the Hearts team of 1914 who joined McCrae's Battalion and went to fight in France. The performance moves around the stadium as the men go from footballers to soldiers. It finishes in the Memorial Garden. A superb performance, very emotional.

Our day finished with Nina Conti at the McEwan Hall. As brilliantly funny as ever.
