Don't look now but ....

… have you seen that woman behind us? She’s wearing a T-shirt and hiking boots! 

We went on a beautiful coastal walk from Dingle today and ended up at the races. Not somewhere I would normally go, but this was a special 3-day yearly event and there was a lot of excitement. The winner of the Dingle Derby was Mr Bowen – a beautiful grey shown in the extra. The horse had only just turned around after crossing the line and it didn’t even looked tired to me. A stroll in the park!

I noticed that there was a prize for the best dressed woman, but I didn’t hang around the enclosure for very long in case I won the scruffiest woman award. Hee hee.

Not only was the walk to and from the races very beautiful, but we spotted the famous wild dolphin named ‘Fungie’. He follows the boats in to the bay and entertains all the tourists.
