Arnside.

Clickychick & I had reason to go to Carnforth, so after lunch we collected Kanyl and off down the M6.  Having completed things in Carnforth we headed for Arnside looking for blips.

When we arrived at the promenade we managed to find a parking place but Arnside is certainly popular .   Unfortunately the tide was in and the day rather grey so no interesting sand banks.  As we were getting out of the car we missed the shot of a train on the viaduct with a single line skein of geese above it.

CC has been trying to arrange a mini blip meet with an Arnside blipper os on the off chance she posted a reply to one of his pics.  He rang her and we suggested meeting in a cafe but that wouldn't do we were invited to his home.  Kanyl and I greatly enjoyed seeing his collection of alpines and cacti, followed by much chat and a cuppa.
