A coming together

Along Ponsonby Road this morning I went past the Deli Bake, a sort of cafe. I was attracted by the sight of its one customer (at that point), the bearded and long haired reader of the morning newspaper, with his coffee. By the time I had stopped, and got the camera out, the second customer had arrived.

As I watched he paused before entering the cafe, and they had an apparently friendly and familiar conversation. A jogger heading the other way from me, entered the scene, and was therefore included in the photograph. I had been there, and was on my way further north along Ponsonby Road.
