(Un)fair
This funfair on Parkers Piece in Cambridge suffered a washout when the heavens opened. In the office I overheard some home time weather whingeing, surprisingly by someone other than me. She was chastised for neglecting to mention the previous excellent run of weather. However weather whingeing is permissible at any time when it's cold and chucking it down. I leapt to her defence and encouraged her to wear her weather whingeing like a badge of honour.
At lunchtime I had borrowed an umbrella to grab food in town. Although I don't own one I'm a recent convert to umbrellas as long as I don't have to share one with someone of vastly differing height.
