2018 Sunday — Still Life

I’m thoroughly focused now on being fully prepared for the start of the new college semester. I have spent the entire afternoon organizing and uploaded the online portion of the hybrid basic writing course I will be teaching. The semester begins on Monday, August 27.

There wasn’t much photographic material in view today because the fog rolled in mid-morning and the view out our windows was a wall of bright white moisture. It wasn’t even a veil; it was a drape! Thick and solid. Somewhere around 4:00, the fog thinned for about 90-minutes.

I was busy during those minutes of clear preparing dinner, so we never got the pups (or us) out for a walk today.

This view of the bouquet of four with the kitchen in the background is what I saw from the dining table where I have constructed a temporary desk. So, that’s my photo for today.
