As we all know, that hectic time of year is looming once again... And this year I am attempting my first homemade Christmas cake! My lovely aunt Joan has made our family Christmas cake each year for as long as I can remember! But sadly she isn't here to do that this year. So I am attempting to make one for my mum and dad. Any tips/tricks/advice is extremely welcome! I have started by soaking the dried fruits in rum....
