Joint
A very rough and ready half-dovetail. The house is bereft of fine drawers with full, neat dovetail joints. My first thought was spliff, a Briticism for joint, but I'm not in the habit of smoking . . . so you get, once again, a literal interpretation for the monoMonday challenge. I only got as far as a quarter inch box joint in woodwork at school and the inside of those weren't very neat either. The last item I made in woodwork was a stool for which we learned the mortise and tenon joint and a little wood turning.
