Field of gold
The straw looks like gold in the sunset and this year it may be a bit more valuable than usually. We will bale some ourselves, and a part of it will be baled by a contractor for the heifers' home farm.
Dried the rest of Saturday's yield. Even though it's almost dry already, the work in the dryer is almost same as it would be if it wasn't. Much less fuel needed, and very much more dusty, though.
The temperature was up to +17°C before it started raining at noon, then a couple of degrees down. It kept raining for hours, but just 2 millimetres, so practically no use, but makes the straw wet.
