A Sharp Storm

A very sudden and sharp storm occurred this afternoon,  in a very short time,  storm drains were blocked and  the village High Street resembled a fast flowing river.  It didn't last long but my neighbour was flooded. The main problem being next to no maintenance on clearing and repairing old drains.   Its made worse by thoughtless drivers or speed through the water creating waves and wash which covers the fronts of the houses and footpaths.  We need the rain but quite like this!
