Emergency photo of the verbena in the front garden. I pruned back the lavender growing underneath it as it had a lot of dead wood but had some new shoots near the base (it must be the weird weather that caused that to happen),. Hopefully it has time to re grow a bit before the autumn.
I had a catch up with Sue, who has had a bit of a rough time lately.
I cooked cheesy aubergine slices for dinner with cous cous which had lots of home grown tomatoes and cucumber added. At the moment tomatoes are added to everything!
