Rainy day

It was a rainy day today almost constant rain and we are expecting our friend and her children to arrive.  They decided to arrive later in the day as it was such poor weather so I headed off to the allotment to plant out the vegetables I had bought earlier and erect a small cage around the Brussel sprouts.  Well the vegetables got planted ok but setting up the frame must have taken about 1.5 hours.  First I erected it upside down and spent ages trying to get the netting to reach the ground on all sides dodging between the vegetables on all sides.  Then I realised my mistake and had to start all over again.  I was by then getting tired and worried that my friends would arrive so I had to make do with a very lopsided cage where not all the netting quite reaches the ground in some areas although it does overlap.
