As well as my scheduled lectures today I went along with Lyds and Lauren to an open lecture called "'An Unconquerable Thirst for Trousers': Fashioning the Modernist Subject", all about all about how trousers first became part of the female wardrobe, and the furore directed at those brave enough to wear them. It was so interesting.
