TT168 - Tiny bird - Grey Warbler - NZ

The Grey warbler is New Zealand's equal smallest bird. It is equal weight to the rifleman, both weighing 6g. The rifleman has a very short tail though so it is regarded as NZ smallest bird.

Very hard to catch in a photo, as it likes to be well buried among the branches and twigs of the trees, and it moves very fast! I took dozens of photos and this was the only clear one, though I did take a few others which were quite nice, but had twigs across the bird etc. - have a look at the extra.
