Telephone Exchange

Not the prettiest building in town by quite a long shot, but I liked the way the sun had lit it with dark clouds behind. Once upon a time there would have been scores of telephone operators working from here connecting people and finding numbers for them. Now it’s all automated. The worst invention of the 20th century was the automated switchboard. I don’t want to press 1 for this and 2 for that. I simply want to speak to a human being.
