WHERE'VE I PUT MY SPECS?

My memory lapses are getting worse. While moving my office I found a possible blip subject, tried to clean it up and consciously thought: "I won't leave it on the draining board, it might disappear. I'll put it somewhere safe so I know where it is when I want to blip it." Can I find it anywhere? Can I remember what on earth I did with it from that point on? Can you picture me emptying waste paper baskets and looking in all my usual put-things-down zones? It's really not very exciting, but if I ever find it you will see a photo of it, whether you like it or not!

And I walked halfway into town the other day with my specs still on top of my head.
