Bach Day

I could have had a duvet day - but did some useful things instead.

And then I converted it into a Bach Day.   

Listened to some wonderful mini-lectures by John Eliot Gardiner - the source and authority on JSB.   

"How can such sublime work have been produced by a man who seems so ordinary, so opaque – and occasionally so intemperate?" That's Gardiner's theme in his interview at the Hay Festival in 2014. If you are a Bach fan, it's worth listening to - in several places on the internet.
