Worn out

It is worrying to start the school year feeling this way.

Normally summer is a good time to recharge the batteries and get refreshed. This summer I have continued with some school activity, running a summer school class, and working on the scheduling for school. It has also been too hot to spend much time outside, and the dog, in his declining years, is not much of a walking companion.

But sometimes “worn out” is the sign of a job well done. This glove has been used by scouts in my Archery sessions. It has worn through.

I feel excited to recognize that I enough people have shot with that glove to wear it out.

Job well done.
